Outlets, switches, breakers — fixed without the $259 surprise
Same-week service calls in the Twin Cities. Free quote, no diagnostic fee, no after-hours surcharge. We diagnose at no charge, write the quote during the visit, and tell you when there’s nothing wrong.
What’s different about a 3RE service call
If you’ve called other electricians in the Twin Cities, you’ve probably seen one of these patterns. We don’t run any of them.
The price we quote is the price you pay
You call. We schedule. We show up. We diagnose at no charge, give you a written quote during the visit, and you decide. No diagnostic fee. No drop fee. No trip charge. No after-hours surcharge surprise.
Single-trade specialists, no upsell ladder
We’re electricians. Not a multi-trade home-services brand looking to sell you a water softener after we fix your switch. If we find something a plumber or HVAC tech should handle, we’ll point you to one — we don’t bundle it into the bill.
We’ll tell you when there’s nothing wrong
Sometimes a flicker is a loose plug. Sometimes a breaker that “won’t reset” needs to be cycled fully off first. Sometimes the burning smell is dust burn-off. If your problem is a 5-minute fix or a no-charge tip, we say so and head out.

If any of these are happening at your house, we can fix it. Most of these are 1–4 hour calls and we stock the common parts on the truck.

What to expect on a service call
Most calls go from “you called us” to “we left, fixed” in a single visit. Here’s the rhythm.
You call or fill out the form
Most repair calls get scheduled the same week. We confirm by text the morning of so you don’t burn PTO on a no-show.
We arrive in the window
Tarps go down at the work area. Indoor shoes if it’s wet outside. (Yes, we actually do that.)
We diagnose at no charge
We talk through what we found, show you the issue when possible, and write a quote during the visit. Three options where applicable — replace this fixture vs replace this circuit vs replace the breaker.
You decide
No pressure, no manipulation. If the work is a 1-hour fix and you want it done now, we usually can. If you want to think about it, the quote is valid 30 days.
We do the work and clean up
We test, label, and walk you through what we did before we leave. Workmanship warrantied.
