John Ihle
Master Electrician of record at Three Rivers Electric. In the electrical trade since 1977, earned his Master license in 1993, and has done renewable-energy work in Minnesota since 1982. Co-founded iSolar Minnesota in 2019 with his nephew Ryan, and launched Three Rivers Electric as iSolar's electrical division in 2025.
Ryan Ihle
Graduated from UW Eau Claire with a Physics degree in 2005. Qualifying Builder for our licensed General Contractor in Minnesota. In renewable energy since 2016 — has designed, modeled financing, completed electrical plans, worked the tools, and commissioned solar projects from large utility-scale to small residential rooftop. Co-founded iSolar Minnesota with his uncle John in 2019.
Grant
Apprentice Electrician since 2021, earned his Journeyman license in 2024. Handles a wide range of residential and commercial electrical work across the Twin Cities.
Tyler
Apprentice Electrician since 2022. Works alongside our journeymen and master electrician on residential and commercial jobs throughout the south metro.
Buddy
The only member of the crew with four paws and a flawless safety record. Buddy supervises every job from the front seat of the truck, runs a thorough sniff-inspection of each work site, and greets every customer with a wagging tail. Specialties: crew morale, enforcing lunch breaks, and keeping squirrels off company property. Paid exclusively in belly rubs.
