Should you replace your panel with one?
Honest answer: not always. If your panel is aging, undersized, or on an insurer’s watch list (Federal Pacific, Zinsco), a conventional 200A panel upgrade is still the best dollar-for-dollar move, and smart monitoring can be added alongside it.
